🌿 A Little Update from My Heart 🌿

Life recently handed me an unexpected turn—an emergency surgery that has called me to slow down, rest, and focus on healing.

For now, I’ll be stepping back from sessions and will return gently when my body and spirit are ready. I’m so grateful for your patience, care, and understanding during this time. 💛 Being able to hold space for you is one of the greatest honors of my life, and it is not something I take lightly.

📷 I found my old camera today, in a basket in my closet! This camera was my high school graduation present from many moons ago! But when I picked it up, something stirred in me - a reminder of how I have always loved to find beauty in everyday things. To try and capture them in my own unique way. I had put this camera down years ago, and with the now amazing cell phone cameras, it almost seemed obsolete. But today, when I held it, I remembered how much I loved it, that we were once connected and this small but mighty camera went everywhere with me. I think it's time to play again, see where it takes me... it's been too long, my friend 📷 🧡 📸

🧚‍♀️ The need to create flooded me today - I have been ignoring it as of late, stuck in my adult ways of the "shoulds" to be done, the list of "to-do's" to check off, but the kid in me said NO MORE! It's time to find joy and play.... this is what my inner kid was asking for!

Another one of my thrifting finds! This elephant 🐘 had to come home with me. Why?

You'll notice in the second picture that he is missing a tusk. As soon as I noticed, I knew he had to come live with us!

You see, when we were in South Africa, on our safari adventure, the reserve there only had 2 elephants. The older one was 28 years, a beautiful creature. He was missing a tusk - the poor guy had been mistreated and abused for 27 years by humans before he was rescued by this reserve. On that day of being introduced to him and his survival story, he found a special place in my heart.

Elephants are incredible creatures - they cherish one another, protect one another, they are gentle yet incredibly fierce, and family is everything to them. And the saying is true, elephants truly NEVER forget!
